Belated Christmas present for
 !Anyway this is her character Artemis. Anyway, this is done in...extremely mixed media. XD I sketched it in pencil, colored it in copic/prismacolor markers, went over it with pen, then went over that with colored pencil, went over that with model paint (because it was what I had on my desk) then added crazy color in watercolor. Haha. It actually worked really well. I was surprised how well the watercolors worked even, (I thought they would bleed or something, but they didn't at all). I think I will do more with them and markers in the future. The only thing is I should have used them before using the model paint and the colored pencils, because obviously they were resistant. Anyway, the crazy confused colors on her were my strange intentionally backward attempts at shading...In the end I like it less then I figured I would, but ah well. *shrugs* It fits the characters personality? /excuse And her scarf looks like a fish. Oops. Also, I know I said I would finish Zoe's pic before anything else, but I had to finish this quickly to give it to Skye. I'm already about a 1/4 done coloring Zoe's pic right now, and it is on HUGE paper, so that's saying something! So don't worry, I haven't forgotten. |
