So I've been thinking about selling work lately, and was wondering what everyone else thought of the idea. The current lack if jobs is...irksome, to say the least, and has me thinking about alternative ways of earning money.
So a few questions for anyone who would be awesome enough to answer. And please be honest. I'm really unsure about selling my work and would love to hear why you think I should or shouldn't. Thanks in advance.

-Would you buy a print from me? If so what of? (photography, fanart, other art...)
-Would you buy my work at a convention?
-Should I offer commissions? If so, what style/what of (chibi, traditional, digital, anime, fanart, OCs, etc...)
-What kind of work do you like to see from me, in general? (my OCs, fanart, etc...)


I've been on a fanart kick lately. I finally watched some anime for about the first time this year, and remembered that I actually enjoy that stuff. XD For the past few years I kept on thinking I should do some fanart, then I would shoot the idea down, feeling that I needed to work with my own material. Though lately I've felt the need to venture out of my own style and practice some different things. I plan on doing a few more pieces of fanart. On my potential list are Tales of Symphonia, Golden Sun, Black Jack, Kuroshituji, Soul Eater, Monster, and Azumanga Daioh. Maybe some other stuff. Who knows.

Oh, and while I'm asking loads of questions, what do you prefer to see? Fanart in the style of the series, or in the artist's style?


Man. It seems like it takes about three years for anything I do to become outlandishly popular. Outlandish as defined by the quality of the work. Haha, don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the favs, comments, etc. But man, there are so many flaws in my older work that has recently become popular(and current work too...but still). BTW, I'm not really going anywhere with this, just musing...
